Having the proper equipment helps every swimmer practice safely, comfortably, and confidently. Please ensure your swimmer arrives at practices and meets with the items listed below.

Swimsuits

Boys

Boys are required to wear a jammer-style swimsuit for both practices and swim meets. Board shorts are not permitted, as they restrict movement and create unnecessary drag in the water.

Girls

Girls are required to wear a one-piece swimsuit for practices and a one-piece competitive swimsuit for all swim meets.

Team Swimsuits

Each season, Polo Warriors offers an official team swimsuit featuring our team logo. While purchasing the team suit is encouraged to promote team unity, it is not required. Swimmers may also wear a previous Polo Warriors team suit or any solid competitive swimsuit that meets team guidelines.

During registration, families will have the option to register with or without a team swimsuit. The registration fee will automatically reflect the option selected.

Because competitive swimsuits fit much differently than traditional swimsuits, we highly recommend attending our team suit fitting before placing your order. Team suits are custom ordered and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Need an additional practice suit? Swim Warriors carries a variety of competitive practice swimsuits from Jolyn and FINIS, along with goggles, swim caps, and other swim gear.

Swim Caps

Swim caps are required for all practices and swim meets.

Each swimmer will receive one personalized swim cap with registration. We strongly recommend keeping a backup cap in your swim bag. Additional personalized and non-personalized swim caps will be available for purchase throughout the season through Swim Warriors and the Polo Warriors team.

Goggles

We highly recommend the Speedo Vanquisher 3.0 goggles for swimmers of all ages. These goggles offer an excellent fit, durability, and visibility for both practices and swim meets.

We also recommend bringing two pairs of goggles to every practice and meet in case one breaks or begins to leak.

Speedo Vanquisher 3.0 goggles are available for purchase at the Swim Warriors swim shop.

Dryland Equipment

Morning practices include dryland conditioning for designated age groups.

Please bring:

• Tennis shoes
• An extra towel
• A t-shirt or athletic shirt (optional but recommended)

Towels

We recommend bringing two towels to every practice and swim meet.

Sunscreen

Since practices and meets are held outdoors, we strongly encourage swimmers to apply sunscreen before arriving at the pool.

Swim Shirts

Swim shirts are not permitted during practices or swim meets. While they may provide additional sun protection, they restrict proper swimming mechanics and create unnecessary drag in the water. We recommend applying sunscreen before arriving at the pool to help protect swimmers during outdoor practices and competitions.

Equipment Provided by Polo Warriors

Polo Warriors provides all training equipment needed during practice, including kickboards, fins, pull buoys, and other coaching equipment.

Swimmers do not need to bring their own training equipment unless specifically requested by a coach.
